the mud people
Many years ago, I came across a Japanese avant-garde theater group with a very special look and makeup. Their performances in downtown Los Angeles left a lasting impression on me. I believe their name was 'The Mud People.
'Inspired by their unique makeup, I conducted some research and discovered a natural white clay used in cosmetic manufacturing, like as a filler in lipsticks, skin lotions, and more. This same clay is also utilized by beauticians in masks and treatments to clear and rejuvenate the skin. Coincidentally, every time my muses used this white clay, they claimed to feel so much better, their skin becoming clearer and smoother. (This was a source of great joy for me, as I have always been conscious of avoiding any chemicals or products that could be harmful to my friends..my muse.)
